NotepadXtreme and this website are operated by SYED AQIB (“we”, “us”).

By downloading, installing, or using NotepadXtreme, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms.

The software

NotepadXtreme is free software provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any claim, damages, or data loss arising from the use of the software. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important work.

NotepadXtreme Pro

NotepadXtreme Pro is a licence for one person, valid for one year from the date of purchase, which they may use on up to 3 computers they own or control. It does not renew automatically: buying again with the same email address adds another year to the same key. Enterprise licences also run for one year. Licences bought before 24 September 2026 remain lifetime licences. Enterprise covers the number of people (seats) purchased, each on up to 3 computers, within one organisation. Activation needs an internet connection once, and the app confirms the licence at least every 30 days. Please don't share or publish your key: a key that is shared publicly may be switched off.

Orders paid in US dollars (and other currencies) are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for those orders and handles payment, invoices, sales tax and refunds; its buyer terms also apply. Orders paid in Indian rupees through PhonePe are sold directly by SYED AQIB, with PhonePe processing the payment. Refunds for both follow our Refund Policy.

Third-party services

Optional features connect to third parties you choose — your cloud-storage provider for sync, and AI providers for AI features. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for any fees, API keys, and usage limits they impose.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use NotepadXtreme for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable regulations.

Content on this website is provided for informational purposes. Download links point to the official installer for each platform.

Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
